Texas Instrument TPS65987D

The TPS65987 is a USB Type-C and power delivery controller that enables cable plus and orientation detection for single USB Type-C connectors. When cables are detected, the TPS65987 communicates on the CC wire using the USB power delivery protocol. Following the cable detection and USB negotiation, the TPS65987 enables an appropriate power path and constructs a mode setting for multiplexers.
